Husky was a diecast toy brand introduced in 1964 by Mettoy Playcraft Ltd., the same company that made Corgi Toys. Husky models were designed to compete with Matchbox's 1-75 series, offering small-scale diecast vehicles at lower prices.
In 1970, Husky was rebranded as Corgi Juniors, and later evolved into Corgi Rockets, which were designed for racing on track sets. Some notable Husky models included a Citroën DS estate with a rowing boat, a Reliant 3-wheeler pickup, and a Buick Electra.
