Bburago is an Italian die-cast model car manufacturer that was originally founded as Martoys in 1974 by the Besana brothers. The company was based in Burago di Molgora, Italy, which inspired its name. Bburago specialized in 1:18, 1:24, and 1:43 scale models, producing highly detailed replicas of real-world vehicles.
In 2005, Bburago went bankrupt, largely due to losing its Ferrari licensing rights to Mattel, which forced the company to stop producing Ferrari models. In 2006, the brand was acquired by the May Cheong Group, which also owns Maisto and Polistil, shifting production to China. Today, Bburago continues to manufacture die-cast cars, including licensed Ferrari models.
