Zylmex was a Hong Kong-based die-cast toy car brand, produced by Zyll Enterprises Ltd from the 1960s until 1996. In the United States, Zylmex models were distributed under the Zee Toys name. The brand specialized in 1:64 scale vehicles, but also produced 1:87 scale models, some of which were marketed by Playart.
Zylmex released various series, including Windracers, Dynawheels, Dart Wheels, Mini Macks, The Competitors, Rough Riders, Super Vans, and Highway Patrol. Some of its early models featured solid disk wheels, similar to Schuco's Modell series. In the 1980s, Zylmex models were distributed by Intex Recreation Corp, which added its branding to the packaging.
After 1996, some Zylmex castings reappeared under the Motor Max brand. The company was known for producing affordable die-cast cars, often competing with brands like Hot Wheels and Matchbox.
